Panda Ants
Panda ants are covered in black and white hair, thus bearing a strong resemblance to the Chinese giant panda. They are commonly found in Chile and are known for their incredibly painful stings. Occasionally, they are also called “cow killers” or “cow ants”, because it is believed that a single ant can poison a grown cow!
Despite the fact that a single ant lays approximately 2000 eggs in a year, panda ants are categorized as a nearly extinct species.
Ligers
A liger is the offspring of a male lion and a tigress. They are very strong creatures and can run up to the speed of 80 km per hour! They not only enjoy swimming but are also very good at it, which is a characteristic inherited from their tiger mothers.
Ligers grow very fast. By the end of their first year, they can weigh up to 165 kg. By the time they turn three years old, they can weigh up to 320 kg. A liger in Wisconsin, named Nook, weighed over 550 kg!
