Today I opened my closet,
Which was filled with books.
The books had stories
And pretty pictures to look.
I gazed at them,
Remembering the time,
When I used to think they are a waste of my time.
I wouldn’t read a book
With more than 200 pages.
But look at me now –
I read a book
With more than 1000 pages!
As I gazed at that forgotten book closet
I truly saw
The change they had brought
Within me.
And now I see
The meaning of the phrase:
“A book is your friend
In your lifetime chase.”
And now I know
The importance of book
That it brings a better out of you
When you take a look
INSIDE THE BOOK.
