As Ali and his friends Omar and Hasan proudly watched the thundering air show on the Karachi beach, they could not help but think: “After looking at the current horrible situation in India, we want to thank the Quaid for giving us a country like Pakistan, Alhamdulillah!”
Walking back home, Ali started: “Remember how Sir Afnan told us that after 1857, the British government officially took control over India. Some soldiers revolted against the British and were declared as rebels. They were killed along with those, who had helped them. The protestors were publicly hanged on trees, until people fell short of trees and ropes. This barbaric demonstration was done to create fear of the British government, so that no one would challenge them again!”
“Allah (swt) sent His divine help, when Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on December 25, 1876, in a Punjabi Rajput family near Karachi. His father Jinnah Ponja was a leather merchant. Muhammad Ali was a budding genius, who passed his Matric at the age of sixteen, and at the age of twenty he had completed his bar at law from England.” Omar added.
