On a Safari

We sat joyfully in a safari jeep,

It started with a shake and a beep.

As we started to stroll in the jungle,

There we heard a noisy rumble.

There came out a handsome giraffe,

And from behind it came out his calf.

We gazed at a herd of elephants elephing around,

Their grey bodies big, fat, and round.

Next, we spotted some chattering chimpanzees,

Rustling the leaves and swinging through trees.

Lastly, we saw a lion, the king of the beasts,

Who likes to gobble people up for a feast.

Finally, it was late and we had to leave –

We said goodbye to our guide Steve.
