Young Rashid Touches the Height of Glory

Rashid Minhas was born in Karachi, where he spent his early childhood. Later, the family shifted to Rawalpindi. Minhas had his early education from St Mary’s Cambridge School in Rawalpindi. After moving back to Karachi, he attended St Patrick’s High School, where he did his O’Levels and A’Levels. Rashid was fascinated with aviation history and technology. He used to collect different models of aircraft and jets since childhood.

His father Majeed Minhas wanted him to follow in his footsteps by attending the engineering university. Against the wishes of his father, however, Rashid entered in the PAF School in Lower Topa (air force’s officer candidate school) and moved to Pakistan Air Force Academy to complete his training.
