Kashmir Bleeds

By Zahra Hanif

Feel their loneliness and pain

Stench of flesh and blood stains,

They cry for help, does anyone care?

The enemy laughs and stares,

In Paradise we dwell

While their lives are like hell,

They go hungry without water and food

We throw tantrums and pull silly moods,

We cuddle up in our comfy beds

While they are homeless in tents,

We complain going to school

They are lying in bloody pools,

For being Muslims they are harmed

Alhumdulillah we follow freely Islam,

We have freedom but they have fears

We have laughter and they have tears,

Here we live perfect lives

There they are being chopped off with knives,

So brothers and sisters, will we always have happy days?

What if the enemy turns his guns our way?

Before this happens, let’s play our part

To Allah in peace we shall depart,

Lets pray to Allah to send His angels

And crush the enemy by His miracles,

The world should be brave and prepared to fight

Together with the Ummah and show their might,

Countries should open their borders and give them space

Or they will die in their homes disgraced,

Form foundations

Give donations,

So lets help the Kashmiris

And show the enemies,

What the believers got

Cowards we are not!
