- He also scored a century in the world cup which was the first for a Pakistani player after Imran Nazir’s in World Cup 2007.
- He is a Hafiz-e-Quran.
- Even after facing a lot of criticism, Sarfraz chose to respond with his performance rather than engage in a verbal battle.
- Now he has been appointed the Vice Captain for T20 cricket and ODI (One-Day International) cricket.
