Sporty Muslim – Sarfraz Ahmed

• Sarfraz Ahmed captained Pakistan’s U-19 team. Pakistan won the U-19 World Cup under his captainship.
• He has been a very successful wicket keeper for Pakistan.
• Sarfraz made a world record of 6 catches in 1 game in World Cup 2015.
• He also scored a century in the world cup which was the first for a Pakistani player after Imran Nazir’s in World Cup 2007.
• He is a Hafiz-e-Quran.
• Even after facing a lot of criticism, Sarfraz chose to respond with his performance rather than engage in a verbal battle.
• Now he has been appointed the Vice Captain for T20 cricket and ODI (One-Day International) cricket.
