It was a bright, sunny day so my family decided to go on a picnic. First, I went into the water. But when I heard the birds chirping, I was so excited that I ran to see them. Suddenly, I saw a cat, which was about to pounce on the birds. My younger brother screamed and the cat ran away. He then picked up the birds and held them for a while to make them feel better. My mother and father took the birds to the nearest vet, and later we kept the birds as pets in our home. My brother and I started to feed the birds properly with seeds and water. Since we fed them every day, the birds learned to trust us and never flew away. I love my birds.
