In Palestine, an ancient land of dreams,
Where olive trees and desert sands gleam,
A people longing for freedom’s light,
Have their voices silenced by the night.
The occupation’s heavy hand,
Crushes hope and shatters the land,
The separation wall- a barrier of shame,
Divides a people, now in flames.
The refugee camps- a desolate sight,
Where families live in endless plight,
Their stories of loss and longing told,
In the echoes of a distant fold.
Jerusalem- a sacred name,
Three faiths and cultures intertwine and claim,
The Western Wall- a symbol of prayer,
Where division and strife are rampant there.
The Gaza Strip- of resilient people, a prison of despair,
Where children suffer as the world silently stares,
The blockade- a cruel and endless strife,
Leaves families gasping for life.
But still the Palestinian spirit endures,
An intense passion pure,
Their determination to be free,
A beacon of hope for all to see.
So let us stand in unity,
With Palestinians in their fight,
For justice, freedom, and equality,
In Palestine, their rightful sight.
